That looks awesome! i need that front on mine.... can you tell me where you got the parts from and at what price (can do that on PM) as i am wanting to do a facelift but it needs to be at least XP and ofcourse in the right colour so i don't have to dish out for the parts to be resprayed.

Thanks for the replies guys! Nice to have hard work appreciated. I got the parts off German eBay seeing as I live in the Netherlands on the German border. Was an hours drive, but weren't cheap sadly. First company I went to had dismantled the wrong ****** car! Second place got it right but at a thousand Euro's for the facelift front weren't cheap to say the least. I got the xp stuff off eBay aswell and had it sprayed cheaply but good quality. I'm quite happy with the way it looks, just some little things here and there. I want to respray the diffuser Black but not sure yet. Still waiting for the parts to refurb my rear calipers before they go on. Won't be long now..... I hope.

What that is a lot of money... you should've bought the lot from Vauxhall and swapped the top grill sorted. It would have been less than half the price you paid for it and that includes you coming down to collect the parts. But yeah you would've still needed the Opel top grille

True but then I would have had to come to England and collect everything. And then get all the parts painted. I got enough money from the insurance and I needed the parts stat so easy enough choice. We all know that if you want to drive a nice car, you need an even nicer bank account....

you'd find that the colour on your car (Star Silver 2, z157 etc) is the most common colour used on vauxhall you'd be surprised how often they get broken up for parts here and usually they are in very good condition meaning no need for a respray. just get fit and forget... unless you want it to be absolutely perfect...

We're coming over to England in july but I don't need anything anymore.
Gave the car a good wash today, looking for a good claybar starterset but need the sealant too don't I? I see Meguiars is good but costs quite a bit. I used Turtlewax shampoo today. I think it's a good result. The jury's still out on the black / silver diffuser though......
