Evening chaps....quick one has anyone on here used Mr Muscle oven cleaner to clean the turbo out...as ive only found videos on vw diesel turbos...if you have what were the results

Exhaust side only, the intake side is alloy and oven cleaner will eat it.
I did my exhaust side when I swapped the manifold gasket, lots and lots of black stuff came out, no name stuff didn't work as well as genuine mr muscle tbh.

You shouldn't put that anywhere near the core or the turbine as it could contaminate the oil. The iron housing would be fine.
