binnacle is a known term for the dials only

And the term "full dash", which was used in the post I replied to, means something completely different to what you've stated.

To be pedantic, "full dash binnacle" was actually mentioned in that post, not "full dash". Meaning the whole binnacle, not the dash.

To be pedantic, he listed three separate components - full dash, binnacle and steering wheel. What on earth is a "full dash binnacle" if you're implying it's one item? Do you get half-dash binnacles? Three-quarter versions?

No he didn't. He said "full dash binnacle" and "steering wheel". There was no comma between dash and binnacle.

To me, that means a full spec one, not one with certain warning lights missing, or no fuel computer, which would be on a lower spec Insignia.
