When the car went in for service a few weeks ago, I got a new Astra, and very nice it was to.

When it went in a couple a weeks ago to have the warrenty work done they didn't have the parts in stock for, I got a Corsa, yuk, lol.

Today, the cars in to have the same warranty work done, hopefully they'll have the right bits this time, lol, but today, I got a damn bus !!! lol

We drove one at Milbrook & doesn't drive like a bus.

We hit 130 on the speed ring, & there seemed loads left.

Your're lucky, as it looks like your dealer has quite a range of courtesy cars,

My dealer only has bottom of the range bl00dy corsa's, and what an awful car it is (prob not all corsa's but just this one my dealer keeps giving me)

I had to laugh the other week though when I was dropping my car in for yet MORE warranty work, this bloke pulled in to drop his car off in a fully kitted top spec Veccy, never seen one like it before, and he walked out with a poxy 1.0L corsa LMAO. He was fuming, mind you so was I when I found out I had the same fate awaiting.

When I used to take my Astra G for service I always used to get corsas.... now I have a Vec I get an Astra as a courtesy car...... and the only reason I have a vec is because my Astra went in for some emergency warranty work and I got a Vec C demonstrator for a weekend as they had run out of courtesy cars, and I loved it so much I bought one!!!!!!!

I had an old shape 3 cylinder Corsa once and it was on the day I was driving to the Motor Show at the NEC. One word. Awful!

Well I was glad to give the bus back, that's for sure, lol.
Got my fog light done, (N/S of course

) and had the suspension re-work done. (no more clunking, boinging. yay !!!)
Still got a wind noise, but that is no surprise, they said last time it was in they really wanted their bodyshop to have a look at it, unfortunately the bodyshop has now closed and the dealership no longer has one !!!
That means I'm gona have to go to the local muppets, god I hope their bodyshop is better than their workshop !!!

What's the wind noise problem GG? There are four threads in the > Technical > Common Problems known to Vx > Body & Body Equipment section that relate to wind noise and the associated fix (under warranty).

Yeah cheers Duncan, I've seen a couple of them, but wasn't sure which applied.
I have also mentioned the existence of some re-works to the dealer, and they have assured me they have checked these, and they are not related to my problem.
I get a lot of wind noise around the B pillar, not noticeable around town, but ever so noticeable at motorway speeds, even sensible ones.
They have adjusted the drivers door several times now, and it has got better, but they have gone further to try and cure it, it hasn't, and the door is now out of line with the rear as it has been pulled in that far. They stopped where they did as they did not want to make it look worse than it is.
