ok, anyone in the north west after a pc - i fix em / build em / mess about with em / for a hobby. I currently have 2 ready to go, a Celeron 2.6 ghz / 100gb / 512 mb ram / AGP graphics card 64mb / xp pro tower unit. DVD player / cd writer, full software pack office 2003 pro, zone alarm pro. Also a NEC base unit, P4 1.6 ghz, 80gb hard drive , 384mb ram, dvd combi drive, agp graphics card (low profile case - silent pc !!) same software as above £100

The fact that you up horth and I am down south, may present a problem. However are either of these pc's internet ready? a freind at work needs a cheap pc for the kids homework.

both pcs have usb 2 and network (ethernet) ports. I run all updates - about 60 in total - so without broadband it would be a nightmare. The nec has a modem as well, if anyone wants a dial up modem ill throw one in the 2.6ghz.
