Vectra c facelift headlight adjustment for driving in europe
I'm of to the Netherlands in a few months and have read that only dealer can adjust the facelift headlights to drive in Europe.
What are they actually doing to do this??
Surely someone must know as most posts are for pre-facelift.
Or do I just bite the bullet and lower the main beam with the switch on the dash??
Cheers

I know on the preface you just flipped the lever inside the headlight once you took the rear cover off were the head light bulbs are it was to the side of the bulb , I presume its the same for facelift

I have been driven in to Poland twice a year without any adjustments or stickers for last 9 years and never been stopped for the headlights.
Now insignia A and same think. I don't bother but i have those stickers which you can buy on ferry in my gloves storage just in case.
More important is triangle, first aid kit and fire extinguisher, hiviz and in France alcohol test.
Im some countries during the winter you have to have winter tyres as well.
Lowering the main beam is a good idea and that's what I have been doing as well.

Nope. Only if you have adaptive forward lighting can you change the light angle.

If you are going to the Netherlands, might I suggest you either get those stickers you put on the headlight or you risk being pulled over by the Dutch police and need to pay the fine on the spot...
They aren't that forgiving anymore over there, so just get those beam altering stickers, so they'll leave you alone.
