The Darklord ponders his rear suspension
Well, emboldened by the recent work work on the front suspension (even if the springs are the wrong ones -sigh), the Darklord has been pondering why the rear suspension is so firm, as witnessed by the struggle to install the new rear springs.
Since the rear suspension wouldn't drop down easily, the pivot points must be sized in some way.
Is it possible to overhaul the required bearings/bushings, or does everything come as complete unit, is, complete suspension arms?
Or are there area I could try forcing lubricant in?
The ride from the rear is rather firm, slightly improved with the new springs, but still rather solid.
Your musings gratefully received.

You’ll probably be replacing arm and bolts, if there that rusted in.
You can replace bushes or put poly’s in but probably cheaper to just replace arm.
You might if you’ve lucky/got enough room which there isn’t much undo nut spray with lube both ends and try knocking bolt in and out to free off, if you’re lucky.

Don't use any poly bushes as they make the ride even firmer.

Vectra VXR estate 2007 Sapphire Black
Teapot Tuned 255/300
Eibachs B8's, fully loaded factory options
