always make sure when buying on ebay that the whole kit is a sachs or LUK. When I was looking for a kit for mine I nearly got conned buy sellers putting Sach or LUK flywheel kit but it was either the clutch or flywheel that was branded, the rest of the kit was cheapo unbranded stuff.

I got mine from NEOBROTHERS Saab on ebay as it was a full Sachs kit inc clutch, flywheel and CSC. I would advise getting new flywheel bolts and while the whole lot is off then its your chance to change the Crankshaft oil seal.

As for the fitting im not too sure as I got some members on here to do it for me

Guys Thanks for your input really appreciate it....what are your thoughts on a solid flywheel conversion over dmf and what effect would it have if I remapped it afterwards cheers

It's not worth bothering with a solid flywheel. Even aside from the problems it could give to your gearbox (especially if you have the M32), the point of a solid one is to not have to change it again when a DMF would have worn out in 5-8 years or 50...60...or 80k time. Will you really still have this car that far into the future?

This is where i got my DMF from although it was cheaper back then, give them a call for a cash price they are very good.

    https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SAAB-9-3-...53.m1438.l2649

All i did was search using the DMF part number and then the same for the clutch kit and the cheapest parts come up, the kit was from Choice Car Parts.

Oh and if you do do the inner crank seal remember the sump needs dropping to do it.

The original in mine did 175k
Despite the cost of living it still seems popular!

Because that’s how you fit it, look at one and it will make sense.
