What is this part called
Hello mates,
I am having the same paint chips problem as in this video and I am considering whether to repaint it or replace it with another one:
https://youtu.be/vPCXQh16ZLE?t=5
Could someone tell me what is this part called, or it's number for a Vec C sedan.
Kind regards,

Just paint it..... all you need is automotive acrylic satin black paint, some masking tape and a bunch of newspapers... as per the video make sure you cover all the bits with the masking tape and news papers..
Sand it down so it nice and smooth...
Than spray 3 layers and wait for 10 minutes between each layer so it can dry a bit in between and that gives the best result.... also removing that part is quite time consuming, so that is the cheapest, quickest and most used way.
Alternatively you could wrap it with vynil in the same colour or whatever you fancy..
Wrapping does give you a whole array of different looks so it is up to you what you go for.

Thank you for your reply!
I am hesitating about painting it because I am not sure how to remove it, I have searched for manuals about it but could not find any. You said it is a time consuming job, why is that?
Cheers

i'm reckoning at a wild stab in the dark here, that because of the amount of prep work and doing it would consume a lot of time to do properly
Plasma's Tech2 services are now open and able to provide services

I was actually saying that removing it takes way to much time.... mask it up properly and after that it'll be painted within half an hour...

I had the same problem on the same part on my Signum. The solution was to remove it, lightly sand it and then wrap it with sticky vinyl.
