Fuel lines

Hi all

on my Vectra direct I’ve managed to mangle both ends of the pipes that go into to fuel filter.
ive ordered two more pipes from vauxhallsuperstore - are they an easy fit from the tank to the filter and also how do I release the y piece at the exit end - it has blue tabs on it but I daren’t push them in with the special tool too hard or yank on it too hard.
any thoughts would be massively appreciated

or if you can get a set of long nose pliers and bend the tips.....this is what i done, had to heat the tips as they would just snap off

Cheers guys - but it’s mainly about replacing the entire two pipes that come from the tank to the filter

On my car, I had to get the garage to obtain new pipes from a Vauxhall dealer and fit them for me, after I did the same. It wasn't ​very expensive.
