DAB fitted to android

Ok so a previous owner has fitted an android head unit by chopping into the look probably to save on the cost of a plug. The head unit is not to bad it streams music, interacts with my phone and plays DVDs.

It doesn t have DAB though is there a way I could get a DAB unit of some king to link in with it?

Are there realiable DAB units as a friend has one that goes in through his FM receiver which loses the DAB quality and often loses stations anyway?

I've had both.

First one - had to take the units back 4 times as they kept screwing up
Gave up in the end.

Bought the Pure - faultless and still in the car with the new owner after 7 years.
