ideas for a multi-region meet / Vec-C.com national meet

following on from the relative success of the Scotland and Wales multi-regional meets a couple of years ago, hows about we try something similar again?

we've done North, and West, so maybe South or East?

somewhere picturesque would be nice, get some good group photo's etc.,

anyone want to throw some ideas in the mix?

dates TBA, lets get some ideas of venue first, and work from there.

Sounds like a good idea, somewhere where there is also a car theme, like the British Car Museum in Coventry or Vauxhall's Heritage Centre (If it still exists).

How about Tyneside ?

Not much going on there (Vectra-C.com wise) but there are some long time forum members there

I wonder if we could approach Nissan as a UK Car Enthusiast Forum and explore the possibilities of a factory visit ... and pad it out with other stuff ?

Anyone here got any SP to get something like this organised ? Or do we start with a basic email / phone approach to explore possibilities ?

Well it sucks to be Woody today

I've just been on the phone to Nissan and the word is that they have suspended factory tours for visitors from the general public (even specialist groups) at the present time.

So that's that suggestion put back to bed

bit further up that Newcastle, but Northumberland coast is stunning..... lots of great places for meets up that way!

regardless.. id be defo up for a road trip regional meet, be prepared to stop over too...
