Default Going from LED back to halogens..

Okay so one of the led bulbs (thats not been in that long) is now faulty

It’s dim, i pulled the bulb out and it will return to full power if you tap the led part. But will just flicker and switch off when back in the car.

So I’ve decided to go back to halogens, ordered some OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER LASER (150% brighter)

Will i need to disable HIDs in the opcom that i had to enable to put the leds in?

    Cheers

No, they will work fine. They will be powered with the 13.8v for which they were designed, not the Vx pulsed 12 v supply which is the normal setting.
Not sure about getting bulb out warning though but if you can't see a bulb is blown when driving maybe go to specsavers!

Just noticed that you've posted in Detailing and car care, try posting in the right section next time, you'll get better results.

Enable xenon in the UEC, Will stop the power to headlights from pulsing, so it wont break led. (Will also turn of bulb check on that)

you're going to be disappointed, I'm afraid.

a set of HID's would have been around the same price, and a LOT better.

Already done, sorry this had originally been posted in the wrong forum.

I'd been adjusting the pattern manually since the beam was too high from when i changed it for the nighteyes. heard a click when i was doing the driver side and now the beam is almost on the floor. wont adjust past a certain point... but will go up using the auto adjuster inside the car. I just have to figuire out how to make it level with the other side now lol. Gonna try unplugging that headlight. using the motor to adjust the other side and then replugging it in to see if it will work that way.
