Just a shout out to any fellow Yorkshire Vectra owners, especially interested in fellow Yorkshire folks with Tech 2 as I plan a few upgrades in the next few months.
Despite the cost of living it still seems popular!

Well hi @BIGMJA123 I know Scunthorpe is in North Lincolnshire, but it does have a DN postcode so could technically be classed as Yorkshire lol.

This is true, but I’m originally from Doncaster so I have Yorkshire roots.

I'm just outside of Leeds but I don't have tech 2 unfortunately. I do have a code reader that will read and clear abs and engine specific choices. Just autel eu702.

I'm from 'Donny' originally too, I don't miss it.

Not bad bits of kit the Autel units, we sell lots of them at work. I do have access to various bits of diag kit, one of them can read and write high and low speed can, but I'm a bit reluctant to use it in case I mess things up lol. I have found most of the units I want to add in there, just think it would be better to do with a proper Tech 2. I'm sure there will be a friendly Tech 2 owner somewhere in Yorkshire, he/she is just hiding for now lol.

It really depends on what jobs you need a Tech2 to do for you.

There are alternatives for several more general items, but definitely for some specifics, Tech2 is 100%

Thanks @Woody I am intending to fit electric rear windows, heated front seats (the seats are in but not wired up yet) and a UHP4. I know the seats are hard wired and don't need programming, but the windows and UHP4 will.

I can get into DDM, BCM, REC and security with Bosch KTS to read and write can configurations for the electric windows, but although the telephone system is in there as well I can't find where it would be programmed in. I just think it would all be easier with Tech 2
