Default CD70 Pairing to different screen

I currently have a CD70 with GID (preface Signum Full CAN), and have just acquired a paired CD70 and CID with the preface surround.

My existing CD70 had the AUX IN mod done by Dougie89 a while ago.

I know I could fit the new ones as a pair with no problems, but don't want to lose the AUX IN.

Can my existing CD70 be paired with the new CID easily, and if there is anyone on here that could do it, that would be great

Done it a few times but must have pin.

Can read eprom and get pin from radio to reset cid and radio but radio will need t2/win to reprogram, cid will be ok on reset, to reprogram to car.

I think it may be easier to get the new CD70 modded for Aux In, and then fit as a pair with the CID

You would need to ensure that both CD70 and CID where divorced from the previous vehicle, if so then all you need to do is divorce the GID and marry the CID to the current CD70 but in order to do that you would need as the others have said the security code for your vehicle which comes as part of the car pass, can be obtained from VX for around £25. You would then need a tech2 or similar to carry out the process. If the newly aquired kit isn't divorced then it's going to be a pain
