302mm Front Brake Upgrade Issue with Carriers

I'm trying to upgrade my front brakes from standard 285mm to 302mm (as fit under my 16" wheels). When trying to fit the carrier that came with the new calipers (from breakers) is the same as the 285mm carrier, so with 302mm disc caliper will not bolt up. Is there a different carrier for the 302mm calipers??

Cant help you there but most people on here upgrade to 314 calipers as it is an easy upgrade mod to do as was a standard fit on certain models.

There's definitely a different carrier for the 302's, otherwise, as you've found, the caliper won't fit over the disk. Looks like you've been sold 285 carriers - and possibly 285 calipers as well. As the brake disk comparison chart I compiled (under a much older username) shows, not many models had the 302s, so maybe you've been sold what is far more commonly available.
