This took some putting together i tell yer. As you can see the LC ones are the best and cheapness i had good results with the Viphid's
LC 55w with build in cancellers caused problems last time i tried a set out so steer clear of them.

Exactly..I was going to put 55w in but reading up suggests that most 55w are actually only 35r a little bit more anyway?
I just want brighter lights..mine just don't seem to light up that great.a dream has 10000k in his 18 plate Mondeo and they are super bright yet 10000k on mine I literally couldn't see a thing..I would like to atleast upgrade the main beams soon
Pass but they are way brighter than my lights with 8000k in them..I've tried 10k in mine and it was impossible to drive at night..got 6k on order
I’ve ordered 6k so hopefully they’ll be ok
6000k is what you need to get a white output with a faint tint of blue.
don't bother with 55w HIDs. 35w is more than adequate. People mistake the wattage as giving out more light and think because they originally had 55w halogen bulbs, they require 55w HIDs.
It's the luminescence that's the important bit.
A standard 55 watt halogen bulb emits approx 1100 lumens.
A 35 watt 6000k HID bulb will emit approx 3200 lumens.
i.e a 35 watt HID will produce approx 3 times the amount of light that a 55 watt halogen bulb will.
EDIT some additional info about 55w vs 35w HIDs - https://www.diodedynamics.com/info/r...s.html#wattage

Cool mate .I read that before posting here..I did try 6k a couple of months ago but must of been dodgy or just crap because they wasnt very bright at all..so should I hid my main beam or getupgraded h7s? Well I think the mains are h7 anyway
Am I being stupid? Are these for the dipped beam or full beam?
