UHP4 Retrofit Advice Please

I have recently acquired a UHP4 module and microphone and although it has a part loom plugged in, it has been chopped off at the end that fits to the car. Am I right in thinking it is hardwired into the harness rather than plug in at the other end? When I had my Nokia kit fitted the guy who fitted it soldered some of the wiring into a multiplug up behind the glove box which I assumed would be where the UHP4 would plug into if it was factory fitted as mine already had the GSM aerial and aerial cable up to the front.


Reading through some of the many threads that I have searched mentioning UHP4, I have read it sounds like the UHP4 simply plugs into the back of the CD70 (I say simply, but obviously it needs pinning into the correct pins). I haven't started to dismantle anything yet, but I am hoping that the fact that mine has the GSM aerial and cable it may also have the roof loom to plug the microphone into?


The plug behind the glovebox which is unused except for a couple of wires soldered in for my Nokia kit is from memory probably about 32 pin with 2 rows of 16 pins, 2005 Vectra SRI NAV with CD70 and CID

I'm after UHP4 retrofit and I see there are different part numbers for UHP4. Are all these compatible with Vectra C facelift?:

I would like to install latest version, hoping for best compatibility with phone.
