Accelerating but falls flat
Hello all
I've been having this issue for some time now and no matter what I've tried the issue just won't resolve, so I'm asking here to see if anyone can come up with other ideas.
The issue being is that although my Vec C 1.9 CDTI SRI 150 accelerates and can get up to speed at a decent pace it just seems sluggish/flat.
So far I've installed a hybrid turbo.
Fully decated the exhaust and have a straight through pipe turbo back.
Front mounted intercooler with all new silicone hoses and clips.
New silicone vacuum hoses.
Remapped by teapot (on going, on the second adjustment and sitting around 200bhp).
Egr was cleaned out but ended up mapped out.
Swirls were mapped out though were in working order before.
Cleaned the small black sensor next to the egr (can't remember the name).
Fully enclosed induction system with new silicone hoses and clips, so no heat stroke for the engine.
Also she's had a full service in October last year.
All that and my old man's 05 vec estate 1.9 Cdti sri 150 with only a remap can kick the backside off it, seems like his just wants to accelerate for fun while mine's accelerates like a 98 year old war vet in comparison.
Anyone have any idea on what it might be? Open to suggestions.
Cheers for any replies in advance.
Andy
Edited: spelling, damn predictive text... p.s. in the title falls is meant to be feels

Do a datalog for the master to review he might be able to spot a fault, plus get the codes read see if anything appears
You don’t mention condition or age of all the filters

Yup but we don’t know what actual work was done, could have been just oil and oil filter

It'd be funny of your old man had shoved a spud up your exhaust pipe 'old skool' style so he could beat you

could it be your induction system?
I fitted a fully enclosed one on my 1.9 150 mapped (by teapot), fmic, egr and swirl delete and I felt like mine was holding back until I put the original air box back in and it was a big difference.

It won't be the coil pack.
As it's a diesel.
It doesn't have one.
