confused Rear end 'wallow' and skipping around corners, advised new rear suspension bushes

So the car is pulling slightly to the left, and the culprit is likely to be the rear suspension bushes, diagnosed from the Hunter 4-wheel printout and local STS chap who says the bits that need adjusting to centre the alignment are adjusted as far as will go and cannot go any further.

I did go under the car to be shown and I regret not taking photographs now whilst it was up in the air.

I definitely need to replace the banana arms which are numbered 13 here and called UPPER CONTROL ARM and these come with new bushes fitted and are quite cheap.

The chap was also pointing to the Part numbered 17, the LOWER CONTROL ARM but I cannot remember whether the bush was on the innermost or the outermost end of the arm, or is there a bush at both ends? This also seems to be the specific control arm where Vauxhall do not sell the bushes, they want you to buy a whole new control arm, but the bushes are to be found on ebay? Have I got that right?

I have seen that the anti-roll bar bushes seem to be fairly easy so I shall do those at the same time I expect.

Following this, I have the same skipping issue as well as the camber that's offset very negative...
I was going to try replacing the banana arms soon but I'm curious to see what you can find out.

From what I remember you can get them of eBay.... but I didn't check the likes of autovax etc, they probably sell the oem bushes separate

The inner bushes on arms 16 and 17 do not tend to wear much if what i have seen on the 4 vectra's we own .It's the outer bushes that wear and you can buy these without buying complete arms. You will need to press them out of the arms ,if you do it on the car with the arms in situ you will need a extractor to remove as they are VERY tight in the arms or you can burn them out BUT be VERY carefull not to set fire to the electrics. If you want to make replacing the bushes ALOT easier buy blue powerflex polyurethane bushes there not cheap but you can put them in by hand and there gaurenteed for life. IF you buy new no16 banana arms buy top quality ones i bought a pair from a very well known Saab spares dealer thinking they would be good only to find that the rubber boots rotting after just over a year. My recommendation would be Febi make but saying that there was a posting not that long back about someone with problems with there Febi make arms.O and for the cost yes replace the anti roll bar bushes while your under the car it's suprising how worn they can be even though they don't look worn i've recently done 3 of ours and all were worn but diden't look like it when on the car.

Is it that the outer bush is twisted so under more pressure than the inner which is straight.

Although I wrote the How2 (under an old username) for replacing just the bush and not the whole arm, I don't recommend it because most of the bushes available on the net are no-name cheapo pattern parts. It's better to replace the whole arm with a brand name product.

Keep saying but if you looked at my diary you’d seen how I did this and I should have put in it links to parts that are good quality
