Where did you buy the main hose from(the silicone one with the turbo feeder)? I googled a few weeks ago to buy a new one, apparently they are available to buy as new and they are like 60 euros, not that expensive but the silicone looks so much better, + being silicone it should outlast the car.

I got it from here mate: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/CycloneCyd/extras
Get some extra clamps though, since some might not be reusable.

    Time for a lil' update!

This weekend I finally got around to ripping out the old slightly bloated intercooler and mounting a 2.5" front-mount intercooler, still some things to button up, but she's breathing well.

And the install is pretty stealthy, an untrained eye wouldn't be able to tell it's modified.

paint the FMIC satin black it'll blend in nicely with the grill ( plus somehow when they are that painted black they run cooler don't ask me why but it's been proven on a few occasions that a simple coat of black paint helps drop the intake temperatures) and no-one will be the wiser... right now it actually sticks out like a sore thumb and can be spotted immediately.

Good point, I was considering it, but I taped cardboard to both sides to protect the fins so I didn't bother anymore.

I still need to replace the hoses that were going into the stock intercooler since I re-used them and they're bent out of shape, but that's been ordered so I'll still need to finish some small things up anyway.

I'll probably take it off and spray it black when the weather's better.
