So I am looking at my interior whichI believe is the SRI XP2 setup and I have a nice steering wheel but standard SRI seats etc. I love the look of the VXR seats but I can t afford them and I ve had the Full leather on a previous Vectra and whilst comfortable they didn t hold you very firmly. I have been on the lookout for Half leather seats but do they do a seat like my current SRI style that hold you firmly?

The other option I guess is to get my current SRI seats made into leather or half leather.....

    Default Unlucky Break!

    vectra hub crack.jpg
So a little exhaust flutter had me putting her on the ramp for a quick look underneath only to find to my shock a crack in the Front hub by the ball joint!

My old mum must still be watching over me as that would have had terrible results had that let go at high speed!

And as she is off the road I have the time to fit my VXR defuser from EBay I just can t decide if I should paint it the same black as the car or paint it silver like the wheels????

I guess I had also better replace my rear pads and the exhaust downpipe if I must lol........

    Default Silver defuser

So I wanted to fit the VXR defuser but I was concerned that if it was painted Black like the car you just wouldn t see it. I wondered if painting it the same silver as the alloys might look alright so I tried it!

I told myself if it looked rubbish I could just paint it black.

The defuser was purchased for £40 from fleabay and fitted very easily, I just removed 4 screws and off came the lower bumper skirt and in went the defuser and back on went the skirt.

I’d have thought gunmetal might have been a better contrast than silver

You might well be right but its an easy thing to take it off and paint it again, I just wanted to try something different to the usual colour code as with black you can t see the defuser

    4 screws????
So it's been added on then, as they come bonded to the bumper from the factory.

    The silver looks good.
You see black focus with silver diffusers.
