So finally i have sorted the leak it took me 2 weeks off the road and checked all known water ingress points that i had found out about and mine was not one of them. So will not list what i checked but what i did find was water was comeing in in 3 places . First was from the rear door through the plastic sheet that is stuck to the inside of the door behind the door card as it was not stuck down fully having been removed partialy by myself in the past , so i hold my hands up to self inflickted work. Secondly The factory sealant in the scuttle tray that runs full lenght under the pollen filter and wiper motor was cracking full lenght ,i sealed this with spray underbody black waxoyl this sets to a rubbery film.Thirdly and the most important one was in the scuttle tray/ windscreen area . My problem was the water coming into the passenger side and after sealing the scuttle tray full lenght i still had a small leak this was evident from a wet drip coming from right at the top of the car bodywork when i was looking up inside the car after removing the glove box and all the large connectors and fuse box assembly. On further investigation i found a crack in the sealant below the bottom corner of the windscreen where the body panels joined , this i could only see when i had a mirror to look under the top of the scuttle tray. This i sealed with the same waxoyl underbody sealant. This finaly sealed the car . I hope this helps someone else as the job was a right bu--er having removed the seats carpets and electrics. I'm also glad we don't have a water meter.
