Accessing the ‘How 2’ section

Hi all,

just got myself another cdti after a few years away. How do I go about gaining access to the how 2 section ? Looking into future ideas for it ?

Once you've participated and contributed to the forum (ie by helping out some other people on posts etc etc), you will find the how2 section will open up to. Currently you are a 'New Member' when you turn to 'Regular Member' it will open up. You are near already...

Basically its to stop people from elsewhere just coming here, signing up, grabbing the how2's and then leaving... People can contribute and pay a membership if all they want from the forum is the how2's

IIRC you have to be a long term regular member or be a paid up member, i am sure someone will be along to verify this.

Does anyone know exactly how many posts you need to make to become a regular member?

doesnt work like that as if people know a number then they'll spam the forum to get their post count up....
