So the diary has been quiet as of late L

So after speaking to dog_book and then growing a pair…. I decided to get the car on the rollers and see what is going on with it to see what power its putting down.
I had 4 runs carried out but an unexplained over boost problem kept occurring. After discussions with the operator it could be that the clutch is sliping (which I did kinda feel for the past couple of months).
    Car made
    270.2 bhp at the crank
    238.6 bhp at the wheel
    335.4 lbf torque

So with my car being the 255 hp version, it appears that the car has been remapped at some point which I did not know but with the overboost issue then once diagnosed and fixed shold give me more.

SO using OPcom came up with P0234-11

    Boost pressure Deviation high

After much head scratching and some friendly advice, mostly from @Dog_Book

    Link followed and part purchased.

Was an absolute doddle to change and at £30. one of the cheapest things to try first.

Changing this part put out the car/Spanner light on dash but fault keeps coming back.

next thing i need to do is look for leaks etc and order new hose.

One thing is one the day of the RR i put in 97Ron instead of 99Ron but car was driven 20 miles to RR so i would of thought that the fuel had "reset" itself on the 97ron.

Was reading online that there is a potential for the cat to be blocked?? not sure how true that could be but the RR operator did mention my cat was smelly prior to the spanner light being on. Anyone got any real experience with that?
Also seems my fuel pipe to tank seal is leaking.

Are you sure there's only one of the boost control valves on your engine? The Z20NET has two.

So thi happened right before i went offshore.
Got a "whiff" of fuel then realized that my fuel filter was leaking.
I had a replacement and it was long over due. looks like its atleast 5 years old and i could not get the clips off so was on the garage todo list.

That code is that from cid as both of mine have that did start looking into it but got side tracked some time ago.
If you turn ignition off turn on radio then check not present until you turn on ignition.
