    Default My day in Llandudno:

After an early start, the families we were travelling with arrived at our house and we set off for Llandudno. We arrived at 10am as things were just kicking off. Sorry Drinky this was arranged before your call to arms and I couldn't change the arrangements. We were in town till 6 pm and it was a long day. heres a summary:

We got there early enough to get close to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (the real one):

The family met some of the characters in town.

Yours truly scoring a few hits!

    Guy on a penny fathing!

A one off roles Royce closely linked with the Titanic

At 1200 there was a precession. Here a few snaps:

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang again driven by the stunt driver from the movie:

The front left wheel of this 1899 VCC Star was very wobbly. I’m not sure it’ll last much longer.

1917 Model T in military regalia:

    How d’ya like the engine:

The driving position here got me. This is a real horseless carriage:

These thing were impressive. First time I’ve seen em on the move.

and they are taxed officers. £90.00 and I thought classics where except!

    Trucks galore:

Rodney and Dellboys next workhorse. A three wheeled tractor and trailor unit:

After the precession we went back into town. While I tried to contact Stevel, and the Drinkys, we watched these guys…They were good!

Then onto the vehicle festival. Cars, trucks, Busses, bikes, Tractors (easy Mickey) and some military vehicles:

At £10 for each family to get in I was a little dissapointed. Then the animal farm and home!

Glad you had a good day mate - so sorry we didn't manage to find you!!! When we left the Great Orme to go down into the town, Chris left his phone in the car, and unfortunately we didn't get your voicemail until we were on the way home!!

Never mind - sounds like everyone had a great time anyway - next year we can plan it properyl!!!!

Darn....I was really hoping to see you all as well. I was like a teenager constantly checking the phone!

The other family in the pics drove me up the wall...I'd a welcomed some sane company! (don't tell the missus though!).

    Great Pics Brocks.
We've been to the Sandbach Transport festival a few times and the Steam engines are a sight to see.

We did get your text but were on the A55 heading back by then. The missus did reply but not sure you got it.

Glad you had a good day.
