Coolant flush today. Been meaning to do it for a couple of years.
No problems to iron out, just wanted it to have fresh coolant.
Four litres of the good Vauxhall stuff, and Wynn's Radiator Flush.

I had a set of wiper arms powder-coated black quite a while ago.
Didn't fit them as the springs had gone, and they don't sit flat on the windscreen.
    IMG_20221231_103815.jpg

But I've had a brand new (old stock) set of wiper arms for quite a while, so decided to fit them today.
And they look so good .

So now I have a set with good springs, and a powder-coated set without.
I'm thinking of trying to swap the springs over.
    Another day .....

Heater/blower problem re-occurred, as I forgot to spray any lubricant in the motor.
Thought I'd have a go repairing the pack myself. Got some 240V thermal fuses off ebay.
Bit of a botch job - but it worked.
I really need to swap the heater blower motor over.

The sunroof stopped working one day last week.
Plugged it in today, and no comms with the module.
Swapped it for my spare, and it's working again. I love the sunroof

I had put on some Powerflex exhaust hangers a while ago, but, because they don't flex, they were pressing the exhaust against the diffuser.
Swapped them for the originals. The Powerflex ones were a pig to get off - ended up cutting them.
While I was at it I cleaned the tips inside and out.

imho on a daily ride, poly bushes should only be used for the big suspension stuff, it stiffens up the ride yet extra the stiffness doesn't really compromise the ride quality... and you are on 19 inch also so best to keep those bushes down to what is absolutely needed.

You could try and see if it fits the exhaust hangers from the astra j 1.4T. They are stiffer then the ones from vectra but not stiff enough to not flex. I know that on the astra the exhaust barely moves while on the signum is a bit on the floppy side, but maybe it is designed to flex more considering there are 2 real mufflers compared to just one?!!?!?!!

The problem is really that the bumper was customised to fit a VXR diffuser and it's quite a bit lower than standard. I might try some longer hangers and see what it looks like, but the originals give it a bit of clearance now which is better.
