Thanks, surprisingly little difference. Good to know behind the rear glass is an option then. Here with all the snow and salt in the winter, if the camera is outside it's one mile and you can't see anything anymore...

Replaced the evap valve - quite an easy job.
Been having this (common) problem after filling up for a few months now.
Attached the new one to it's bracket (the old one wasn't) - replaced a cable tie & tape on the ECM connectors.
Also taped up the connector on the solenoid itself.
Found it easier to disconnect the ventilation pipe with the evap valve, as the connector was a bit tricky.

Found a loose bolt, but couldn't see where it might be missing

Without this forum, I'd be completely unable to do jobs like this.
Thanks to @Dog_Book for his excellent photos here.

Picked up my new Signum "VXR" rear bumper yesterday, created by @newboy
Thought I'd transfer the parkpilot brackets over today and refit the bumper tomorrow.
Cleaned up the brackets, then discovered that OF COURSE the sensor holes should be 29mm!!!!!
Not 23mm like I had drilled before painting.
Picking up a hole saw tomorrow, and will be very gingerly re-drilling

Oh dear, centering them will be hard. You could always use a block of wood supporting the bumper and drill through that so the centre wont wander as long as the wood and bumper dont move it should be ok then use paint to touch up the edges.

Sikalflex is good for bonding these to bumpers btw

Thanks mate, exactly what I was thinking of doing.
Actually had to do similar a couple of years ago, when I did the replacement front bumper. Went from 21-23mm, which went surprisingly well.
    You'd think I'd have learned
    Using Tigerseal.

Re-drilled the holes, then used a craft knife and some 400 grit to tidy up.
Won't be as nice as @newboy made them, but not bad.
My touching up skills are not good, but I can probably correct when polishing in a week or two.

    Bumper on today.
There was a gap in the clouds after it snowed, so I thought "get it done"
In between hail, rain, and gales.

I used a crowbar on the hangers as much as I could, and added some length to the middle one, but the tips are still pressed against the bumper.

BUT, I love how it looks. @newboy has done an amazing job. Massive thanks.
I'm seriously thinking about a custom exhaust with VXR tips now
