Hello. I am a new member. I own a 2007 1.8 vectra, with the vehicle running the brake lights operate properly. When I have the rear demister on and the front demister on the brake lights come on when I press the pedal, but when I let go of the pedal they stay on. If I turn one of the demister off they take a few seconds to go off after I have released the pedal. If I turn off both demister the brake lights work properly. Has anyone come across this problem and if so how did they cure it.
many thanks

Welcome!
Not heard of this before myself, but there may be someone on here who has. This place is a world of knowledge and helpful advice and also a great place to get wallet emptying tips!

Personally, I'd put the post in the vectra section......you might get more viewers.

OP says it's a 2007 model.
Radio code won't be necessary as the car is full canbus.

Then I apologise, but i would rather be over cautious than give the op another problem.

The only problem he should incur disconnecting the battery is losing the one touch function of the elecy windows. Instructions to re-establish them are mentioned in the handbook.
