    Default Cd70 mic?

Hi just installed a cd70 head unit and everything works fine except if I call someone via Bluetooth they can't hear me? Is there a mic somewhere or do I need to buy one? It's pre aux if that helps? Thanks

Mic is fitted @ interior light when Bluetooth in car. I have not retro fitted one though so not sure what is involved. Did you fit Bluetooth unit paired to CD70?

I think you will need to add a mic , run it round the back of the glove box ,up the side pillar ,then along to centre light .You need to undo mirror to unclip the roof lining to tidy up the cable.

Its in front of the light, if you look where the alarm sensors are you'll see slots in the plastic that's where the mic fits

Hi sorry for the late reply. Yes it has the Bluetooth unit all parts came from the same doner car luckily, I even took the entire loom that goes from 1 side of the dash to the other along with passenger side fuse box, cim module and steering wheel. Only thing I needed to get was pass side airbag and now obviously the roof light unit lol.

Also does anyone have any idea how to retro fit a mic into the head unit or would the mic wiring already be present in the roof lining/light unit?

If I remembered on my Sig you take out the courtesy light above you head feel on the right hand side about 5 inch in you’ll find a small black connector, now on the ribbon loom in the headlining there should be but not always the a connector on it marked with Mikrofon German for microphone that plugs in there, the mic should be prosition between the two ultrasonic sensors that clips into the electrical junction box there the light is.

I'll have a hunt for that connector and fingers crossed it's a bit.
Thanks everyone for your helpful replies and wish me luck lol
