Default CRD2 for Facelift V6 CDTi £150 delivered

This box is 9 months old and has just over 2 years warranty left.

The CRD2 has 4 maps on as well as being able to be adjusted 10% either + or -.

The CRD2 on a V6 CDTi gets approx 220bhp and 340lb-s torque and boy yes you can feel the difference. Due to my style of driving, I find that it is not required. This box is working completley fine and I'm sure Andrew will give support for the remainder of the warranty which I understand to be 3 years from new, irrespective of the owner.

This loom is for Euro4 only, not pre facelift.

Don't want to be a killjoy but the email that I have from Andy at CDTUK is that the warranty is for FIRST PERSON ONLY. although they will give advice and support to anyone.
Good luck with the sale m8. I have one of these and for anyone interested they are VERY good!!!!

Sorry m8, not the warranty I was given, On the box itself.

It will fit other models but will need a different loom and reprogramming which Andrew can carry out.

    As per Kev,

I rang Andy and the Warranty is non transferable. Sorry.

    That said £150 is cheap!

Although......Andy did tell me on the DTUK forums that even though I was second owner of my CRD2 which still had a warranty left to run, if I had any probs then dont hesitate to contact him and he would sort it out.

Not as good as a fully transferable warranty, but still good service.

Sorry for jumping into the thread, consider it a free *bump*

Just like without it, depends on your driving style. If you want the extra power and boy it does deliver it across all the settings, then you you have to compenstae elsewhere and that has to be the MPG.

I ran it on +10%( the lowest of the 4 maps) from Newcastle to Birmingham and back just using the power as and when I needed to and it returned around 37mpg calculated on fuel delivered at the tank. The trip was out by around 1 mpg.

Havent noticed a huge changed in mpg.

Since fitting mine, previously I used to get around the 38 mark.

Now it rarely dips below the 40mpg mark.

So not much, but a wee bit of an improvement.

As willc said though, the increase in power has to be experienced to be believed.

Everyone with a 3.0V6 CDTi should try one of these boxes at least once. I havent looked back since I fitted mine.
