    Red face stereo help!!!!

    hi all i fitted a sony head unit yesterday and also had the autoleads adaptor PC9-106 but the sterio would not work with the adaptor fitted!!!!!!!!!!!!! anyone else had this problem...............sterio in the car working.....but no sterring wheel controls working.....

    Right - have you got full or half CANBUS? (Scroll wheels or 3 buttons on steering wheel?)

    There's loads of issues with steering wheel control adaptors, first thing is to make sure you've def got the right one.....

    we got the 3x buttons and the adaptor is the autoleads PC9-106

    what stereo is it that you have fitted and did you get the patch lead for the steering wheel controlls

    fitted a sony head unit and got the autoleads pc9-106 for the sony but when fitted doesn't work!! (the sterio)

    i had the same prob last week with an alpine unit i had the wrong lead changed it for a different lead works fine now but you will need a patch lead for the steering wheel controlls
