SCV Replacement

morning folks,
so the SCV's on my car seem to be on the verge of failing now so ive ordered a new pair that should be getting delivered monday.

ill be looking to get these fitted pretty much immediately so im looking for advice from anyone who has done them as to what to watch for and what unusual tools i may need. also what parts are nice to remove to aid the job but not required.

also as far as know their is only maybe 2 videos for changing the SCV's on these cars so would anyone else be interested in a basic (most likely very lightly edited) video showing exactly what is removed etc or has it already been done.

actually did do a search and have watched said video, but for me i prefer to actually hear it explained aswell haha

ok took two days and a lot of swearing as i didnt have a short enough allen key, but got the valves changed and engine mostly reassembled but ive not got a massively loud knocking/banging noise and is ****ing out coolant. i suspect coolant is coming from one of the pipes going to or from egr cooler so ill be ripping the car apart again tomorrow likely.

i also have gained the following fault codes:

p1110
p1112
and
p0100

now the 1110/1112 i think i know the reasons for as i believe they are swirl valve codes.

does anyone know if the swirl valve vaccuum control is fused and if so what fuse. as it would appear someone has played with the connections before as their are bare wires and stupid crimp bullet connectors as their is no plug anymore it appears.

any other ideas would be appreciated of course
