We appear to have identical cars, so it's nice to know the H1's work without fuss. Will be giving them a go very soon!
Used a lighter and the handle butt of a screwdriver on the caps lol

Just fitted my H1's after getting great results from my H7 Nighteyes and all I get is strobing and bulb failure, they look good when lit, is it a case of changing the programming for HID's

no it is a case of putting in a resistor to stop it from doing so, the setting for hids will only work on the dipped beam...

Are you sure about that settings? Try nighteys in low dipped and set hid in uec and they warned by failure and strobing?

it should work but sometimes the vectra modules are kind of stubborn... after you've set it it shouldn't give the error as it will bypass the dipped beam, meaning after it is done and if it strobes, remove the battery clamps for 30 minutes (if you have a prefacelift make sure you've got the car pass) than reconnect them it should than bypass the dipped beam... (removing the battery actually resets all the engine modules)
but all the other lights will need a resistor placed inline to give the bulb check enough resistance so it passes the bulb check this also eliminates the warnings on screen...
for the side lights you can buy these but they need some adjusting otherwise the bulb holder will fall off (cut off the resistor and put it inline on the oem wiring solves the problem)

that is about it... i haven't found the right ones yet for the high beam, but i figure i could use the same warning cancellers I have on my HID kit and just put them inline on the oem wiring( means they'll be outside the headlights housing) and i am really considering the same ones for my foglights also... they might be a bit on the heavy side for them but all in all if they work on the h7 bulbs they should do the trick on the H3 i have in my foglights also... just need to figure out were they'll go.

I used to have those but after a year or so they started flickering, also a few of the leds stopped working. I now bought these of ebay, they flicker, but no canbus error, soon I'll be putting the resistors in (the ones in the link I previously posted) to stop them from flickering. than the next stop will be matching the high beam nighteyes with the hid cancellers, and the h3 fog lights with the same. But it will be when the weather has changed...

I had LEDs in my fogs in the van, but the light throw was gash, if the nighteye 1s are better I might be convinced, never had much problems with hids for them tho

My Nighteye H7 low beam is fine, no flickering and no fault lights on at all, fitted H1 Nighteye's for high beam and flickering, bulb warning failure but light up ok when switched on, so should I try changing the setting to HID's

My nighteyes have started failing tonight after 6 months.
One of the diodes is flashing constantly, they still illuminate but the flashing is quite noticeable.
There's a supposed 3 year warranty from the seller on ebay so I'll try my luck
