That looks like a nice clear brightness.
Is there any chance you could take a picture of the bean pattern ie you've got the car parked 10m away from the wall with the lights illuminating the wall. I'm curious if the beam pattern compares to the oem halogens/ MOT. The lens of the lamp is usually designed and focused to the point source of the filament and with some pictures of the LED designs would appear that the result would be light scattering/ diffraction issues.
That'd be appreciated, thank you
Ordered mine this morning
Don't have HID's, just the usual candles in jam jars
Looking forward to seeing the difference
Got side lights coming too, but have seen some led 'direct replacement' fog lamp units on egay
Says they fit same as original OEM units and are a direct replacement. Not sure on them, but may take a punt for £22 and see
i wonder if they'll actually fit your preface ... all the direct replacement units i have seen are for facelift bumpers (different mounting points on the bumper for the foglights)

Don't have the Preface anymore, sorry, haven't updated my profile pic in a good while
Mine came yesterday but won't have the time to fit them until the weekend. Was hoping it was a quick unscrew, pop out and plug in but didn't realise the whole light had to be taken out!
Neither did I to be fair, but why do they?
There's about 2 inches of space between the bulb holder and the airbox/fusebox so unless you've got small hands, it's too fiddly to do with the lights on
