no more vectras or signums
Well my Signum has been sold for spares or repairs after failing its MOT due the sills being completed eaten away with rust... I do not have the health to be fixing cars anymore. With the wifes vec going earlier this year we no longer have vec or signum left in the family..
I replaced her vectra with a nice facelift 1.6T petrol Insignia which has been tuned by Thorney so its nicely over the 200bhp mark and still making great mpg figures.. I now drive a Jaguar XF which i am quite pleased with, so far. It is booked in for a remap at the end of the month...
Will still try and come to a meet or two if i know when they will be on but its depend on my chemo and my general ability at the time if i am still kicking..
Be cool peep, hope to see you around..
Nige

Good luck with the new cars... I get where you are coming from, but it is the first time I hear of rust problems on the Vectra C... the Signum yes I know they can rust in certain places I've seen quite a few of them with rusty patches.. or do you live in a coastal area?

good luck with the treatment, hope its not too serious, I had neck and thyroid cancer 6 years later clear, pity about the bike accident meaning the back and hip are giving trouble. giving my car repairs a pass at the moment, the 3.2 might go but still have the wifes diesel, but may look at an Insignia. hang on in there.
