You should see 12V at the relay coil when key in cranking position. Use a test bulb to see if the circuit can carry current.
The control wire is powered from F7 to Atomatic transmission ECU to Neutral/park switch to XE3:27
The negative from XE3:22 to X19:26 to ECU XC12:23

Are you sure that the ECM isn't corrupted?

I ask as I had an issue with my Saab, where (due to doing something in the wrong order) the car ended up with a VIN mismatch and the car then displayed similar symptoms - needles twitching on the dials etc and no start.

Thanks guys for this - XE3 27 needs to be +12V input? I have +12V on FE7 - I will check the circuit diagram this evening

The problem is I cannot get into ECM, CIM or anything on High Spped canbus to check re - program because their is no power to any of them

    Hi KIristian -

Checked on Wiring diagrams - the feed from F7 - XE3 11 to XE327 does it go through the engine ECU and Power steering as well? Or is it a completely independent circuit?

IE - could I bypass gearbox ECU and parkswitch without affecting engine ECU and power steering?

    Thanks Ben

No power to any High speed ECU, do you mean no 12V supply on theese ECUs? All ECU need 12V supply to operate.

F7 XE3:11 is supply for MAF and EGR, XE3:27 is supply for control side of crank relay.
Can't see this circuit have anything with power steering to do.

You can try to disconnect can bus from all ECU and run wires directly from your diagnostic tool to the ECUs one by one to see if they will communicate then, the tool must also have 12V supply.
