Hull Meet 26/08/2018

The forum has been very quiet regarding this meet. Is it still on and who is going. I will start the list

Hulls not far from me I’m Doncaster area , an hour tops .
Never been to a meet with any car I have owned in 20 years but I am interested in attending one of these .

Vectra c . Have not had a stand at this show. I've been going to it for 4 years and this is my 5th.
I'll be attending with the insignia misfits. This year.
Me. plasma ,woody and dazzle with be staying at the preimer inn in hull sat and sun and go home Monday after a long breakfast.

I have been to a few meets now, never this one though, and I can honestly say I have enjoyed each one. Good people and good banter. Come along, you will enjoy it. I live near Wakefield so a bit further than you

I don't even know where abouts in Hull it is. Is there a charge for attending? What time will you be getting there?

Not sure if the insignia guys let other cars on stand.
But you can just come and park in the public carpark ( woody Dean and dazzle) just do that . It's only a donation to get into the park.

Yeah Rhodie I know Wakefield , your not far from me at conisbrough maybe 30 mins down a1.
I may attend just to have a look around and say hi etc. I wouldn’t put my car on show if there was one there as I’m only a novice with the vectra and I am on a budget lol , new starter that’s me! Only real experience is racing my cars few years back when I was a Clio sport lad , then raced the pulsar gtir. It would be nice though to get to meet up with other vectras , just to get some knowledge, ideas and socialise ( the mrs won’t talk cars) .

I am going to be dropping Mrs Rhodie off with her mate in Hull (she is originaly from there) then going on the show by myself, so look forward to seeing you there

I can update any users Comfort Unit to the latest firmware while I am in Hull. Just let me know via a PM beforehand if you would like this doing.

I will also have these modules with me and a Video Module available for sale and collection while I am there
