Wiring guage - heated mirror

When my Astra-J is doing a regen, the heated rear window and mirrors power up. Both were slightly misted up one evening as it was damp outside. Within 30 secs of the regen starting you could see the lines in the rear window starting to clear the condensation, and the mirrors also cleared too.

I believe it's exactly the same for the Insignia too.

OP, do the job properly, and don't fit botch locks to connect the LED to the cars wiring.
Either cut and heat shrink, or shave a small amount of insulation off the heating wires and solder the LED wires to it, and then insulate afterwards. But don't use botch locks.

The mirrors or the rear window doesn't come on on my insignia when it's doing a Regen.
This was one of the most asked questions from everyone who has fitted the led.

After finding two yellow wires with a brown stripe I decided to give up. Now I can't get the blooming speaker back on - its the bit that hooks over the white bit similar to a screw head which is making it impossible for me. Help!!
