    Default Two Connecting bars On Drivers Door Lock...??

    Just attempted drivers door lock removal,un clipped the connecting bar & discovered another one Cannot see how to disconnect it to enable lock removal Any ideas please?

    ​Yeah I have seen that That lock has only the one connecting rod,mine has two I cannot see how to disconnect this second one

    One rod is for the lock and one rod is for the handle. both have a plastic clip which the rods slide in to. just open the clip and slide the rod out.

    I managed to un clip the longer one by pushing it forward I can not work out how to un clip the shorter one Does it un clip at the lock end or at the top? Thanks

    If my memory is right I think it's at the top just behind the lock

    are you talking about the rod that is shown in that video clip at about 3.40 looks like he just pushes it down/up to unclip from the red locating clip.

    The lock shown in the video clip appears to have only one connecting rod which mine has & pushing it forward releases it Mine has a second rod(not shown in video) which I cannot disconnect to enable the removal of the lock
