Default Cutting hole in bumper for induction pipe

Don’t know why but thinking about cutting a hole in my bumper for induction pipe. Anyone tried this? Might sound stupid idea. But want to change vectra as getting bored.

I thought about this when I had an enclosed induction kit but on the 1.9 150 engines there is no room to route a cold feed pipe apart from the 1 that is already there

i would wonder about it ruining the looks of the car which i believe would be a shame. what about removing a fog light, would that work?

Yeah this is normally something I would never do. As the car is standard apart from alloys and a remap. But just fancy a change and it’s prefacelift so not a nice as facelift model. Part of me thinks about making the car look abit more rough and ready.

there is enough room in the middle bumper grill, that is where i would put it... it also means you'll have a little more room to route the duct... but i wouldn't cut a hole out in the bodywork or grille, I would use black tie-wraps to secure it in place (means drilling 4 holes in the ducting and than securing it with the tie-wraps to the big centre bumper grille)... that way if you don't like it or it doesn't work as you want you can remove it without damage to any of the bodywork...
