Why are International miles twice as long as European miles?

I know Vauxhall are British since 1827 but don't they realise a Good Old British Mile stretches further than just Europe, iirc a Good Old British Mile is the same as an American mile and they aren't in Europe. Although if Trump.........

someone ****ed up in the manual... they probably wanted to say 16.000 km and 10.000 miles (and even that is a rough estimate)

Actually it seems that Dog_book is right.
I am unable to find any detailed info on when to change things like the fuel filter in a Mokka.
There are vague references on google (etc) to a general Vauxhall service interval recommendations, but they never amount to much.
Haynes appear to stopped making (printed and online) Vauxhall Manuals in 2012.
I have a downloaded pdf manual for the Buick Encore / Opel Mokka which is 9557 pages long but does not contain information about service interval either.

like i said someone F-ed up... just keep to 10.000 miles a service and if you were to use tech2 or Op-com/Vaux-com you'd see the interval settings in the ECU anyway and i'm quite sure they'll be set on 10.000 miles and every other service should be a big service... also i didn't think Dog-book was wrong though i noticed it in the downloadable pdf of the owners manual for the Insignia too...

I would hope I'm right, after going through and writing servicing and repair manuals for high bypass gas turbine jet engines these cars are easy work. Thats why i find it maddening that they cannot provide such basic and simple information. I've still had nothing back on looking after the important and costly 4x4 system fitted to the Mokka.

If i was wrong id let you hit my and video it for my stupidity I always try and help myself first before just lazily posting, sometimes people have search differently to how i would and have the info, it seems even dealerships don't have it all and have to ask their Master tech;s who are on holiday atm

    Look at these 2 beauties

Like Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder! Perfect harmony. Has the Mokka got Hids?
