    Default Vauxhall are useless

Is it to hard for Vauxhall to provide me with the exact detailed service schedule for my new Mokka 1.7cdti 4x4? Seems so, they reference a booklet which is the same as a Vectra one you just log when the services were done and what was done.

    Hi,

I am surprised you have asked me to look in the servicing and warranty booklet as it holds no such information and makes me wonder if you have even looked at one?

This is why i was hoping Vauxhall customer services could obtain the detailed and exact servicing schedule for my car, its not just how many miles the servicing should be done but what they involve. When to change a cambelt, what oil to use, when to change the brake fluid, when to service the 4 x 4 haldex diff and what to use and do. What other special jobs that this car engine and drivetrain require thought the life of the car.

Surely you can provide me with this after all you make them?

    Steve

    Service Request Number: 489214-1531867663
    Date: 11th July 2018

    Dear Sir,

Thank you for your email dated 2nd July 2018, regarding your Vauxhall Mokka, registration number, FP13JFJ.

Firstly, I would like to apologise for the delay in my response.

I understand you are contacting us in reference to service schedule details, and I welcome the opportunity to comment.

I would like to refer you back to your servicing and warranty booklet, there will be detailed service schedules in there.

If you do not have a servicing and warranty, I recommend contacting the Parts department within your local Vauxhall Dealership, they will be able to order one for you.

You can locate your nearest Vauxhall dealership via the Vauxhall website www.vauxhall.co.uk using the dealer locater tab.

I hope this helps with your enquiry today, and I would like to thank you for giving Vauxhall the opportunity to assist you on this occasion.

However, if you require further information, please do not hesitate to contact me via replying to this email, or calling 0800 026 0034 quoting your Service Request Number as shown above.

    Yours Sincerely,

Ok lets try this as it seems your playing games with me,

you tell me which page this detailed service schedule is on and ill look as i know it does not exist. Ill then take a photo and allow you to explain yourself by giving me misleading information, this story is getting so good im sure a newspaper might be interested in it as it seems Vauxhall’s own staff do not have a clue on their own cars.

Also how can the Mokka 4x4 have the same as all other Vauxhall cars when not all models and cars will have the a 4x4 system let alone the one fitted to the Mokka.

So enlighten me which page is all this on?

    Steve

    Dear Mr Roberts,

Thank you for your prompt response to me prior email.

I can confirm the check list listed in the Service and Warranty booklet provided with your Vauxhall Mokka upon purchase is there service guidelines we recommend for your vehicle.

For 13 plate mokka 1.7cdti 4x4 info? It’s bad enough on the Mokka forum.

cheers I’ve got the basic info I’ll have to go into the local dealer with the vin code. Just cannot believe the company who made the car cannot pull this standard info out of a file easily and quickly

    The saga continues.....

    Dear Mr Roberts,

Thank you for your prompt response to my prior email.

You can find the checklist for your services on page 5 onwards of your Service and Warranty booklet.

The list you will need to look at is the list your chosen garage would fill out if any of the listed items needed replacing.

Your vehicle does not have a service schedule any different to other UK Vauxhall vehicles.

I hope this helps with your enquiry today, and I would like to thank you for giving Vauxhall the opportunity to assist you on this occasion.

However, if you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me via replying to this email or calling 0800 026 0034 quoting your Service Request Number as shown above.
