Default Best way to remove swirl marks from black paint

My paint has swirl marks all over previous owner didn’t maintain the body work very well.

I’ve tried poorboys swirl mark remover to no avail. I’ve been thinking of getting a duel action polisher but abit worries about this as I’ve never used one before I’ve always used elbow grease.

Now my question is as a newbie to this would I be able to get the hang of using one. I’ve seen one on eBay

    https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F273202487501

I don’t want to spend mega money one if I can’t get the hang of it.

What are the best products to use to get rid of swirls and to maintain the paint work. I like the poorboys range but a friend said to look at auto finesse or dodo juice as I will get a lot better results

    Thanks Sam

Black is a pain to keep clean etc but needs claying first then machine polishing up going though compound grades then waxing and sealing

iv looked into mine too but its not as simple as apply and wipe a certain amount of skill is needed along with the right tools but practice makes perfect , im going to look at getting someone to do it probably cost an arm and leg but then it will be much better than what i will do and ill maintain it from that point or you could always wrap the car? but costly

I wouldnt buy a rotary, they can be very unforgiving. By a Dual Action and read read read read, watch Youtube video's, read read and read some more. If you dont it could end up with an expensive trip to the body shop.

pretty much swirl marks at every angle you look at it where the light hits , no rust however and couple scratches here and there bonnet has fair few expected for an old car tho , when getting car washed etc much more noticeable im probably being very picky as most non car people think it looks good!
