Headlight restoration

Not been on here for a while, what is recommended for restoring headlights back to original. Thanks.

if they are really bad... dry sanding with 1000 grid, followed by wet sanding 2000 and 3000 grid than polish with T-cut and wax preferably with a buffer...
toothpaste works, WD40 works and a whole load of other stuff that is for clear plastic cleaning and polishing...

all the big polish brands do a headlight restoration kit that comes with mostly all you need to sort it out...

I wet sand with 2000 then use a soft mop with megs metal cleaner, sounds mad but it makes then look brand new finish off with a coat of wax
