    Default Ford Probe

Thinkin of buyin a Ford Probe as a mess about car, I know most people will say its rubbish, horrible etc and i know they're rubbish lol but I've wanted one when I was a kid, before i knew what made a decent car, and now its a childhood itch just needing to be scratched and get it out my system. Anyhoo, seems they can be got for around £600-900 these days, but seem to be pretty few and far between in availability. So has anybody got one/ owned one/ know anything about them that i should look out for?

i'd steer well clear.. some parts are nearly un-obtainable, they suffer patchy releiability and poor trim and finish....mainly due to being built by prision labour in the US..

buy it with a veiw to ditching it in a few months.. i wouldn't keep one as a long termer..

The V6 is actualy a mazda engine. The one fitted to the MX6 & 626 V6. Yes Ford did put it in the mondeo, but it stared out as a Mazda, which in my book makes it the one to go for, if you really must have one.

Which mondeo did the V6 go into? It was a different engine in my M reg V6 Ghia X.
My mum has one, the 16V one was **** but the V6 one seems ok. Parts are as said very expensive. I'd go for the mazda personally.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!
