Red face power fold mirrors insignia

    Hi Guys
My Vectra had to go due to gearbox issues, so now got an insignia SE cdti 2.0L
Question I have is, what do I need to add power folding mirrors.
As far as I can see I think the wiring to the mirrors is all there.
Do I need to buy the mirror switch as well as the power fold mirrors, or is there a bit more to it than that.
    It doesn't have memory seats.
The car seems to have all the extras except the power folds.
    TIA for any help

From what I gather with the Astra-J, the same switch will work despite it not having the little symbol underneath to indicate that it power folds. IIRC, the same switch is fitted to the Insignia. Can't help with the rest of your question unfortunately.

Its not as simple as just adding the switch as there is wiring to be done as well and you will find that your mirrors wont even have folding electrics in them so new mechanism needs to be purchased as well
But the man that can retro fit it all is Andy Lamb at vxmods
if someone can tag him im sure he will give you all the information that's needed

Aside from wiring, it's pretty certain that you will need your car connecting to the big GM computer in the sky to add the feature to your car.
