confused water in control units / immobiliser probs

I have a 06 Signum 3.0 CDTi design, the car developed a fault at 14000 miles where the engine kept on running even with the key removed. Engine light on to show fault, had to stall to switch off.
Vauxhall found a problem with water in one of the control boxes, I think it was something to do with the cooling control box? Took two weeks to obtain the part. Any way another 6000 miles on, the car developed another fault, this time the car failed to start, turned key nothing, battery full power, called AA, they sent breakdown truck, chap thought it was an immobiliser fault so disconnected the battery for 3 secs the the car fired up fine. Car went to dealer for 20000 mile service and to check for fault, nothing found.
2 days later car again failed to start, removed battery and again it fired up ok, later the spanner light came on indicating a fault. Vauxhall currenly looking at car again, water in another conrtol box, part on order non in stock car again off the road for a long time. Does anyone know if this is a common fault on the Signum and where is the water coming from?
I had a V6 CDTi Vectra prior to this with no problems and over 100,000 miles,
I really like these cars but they have to be able to do the basics i.e stop and start!!!!!

Well finally got my car back on Friday after only 1 week at Vauxhall, They have changed a different control box this time as again it had water in it. This is a sealed unit, (any one else had a similar problem?) anyway car is running great again now so I just have to hope I don't have any more problems. Vauxhall dealer did say they have reported it to Vauxhall as a design fault as water will always run down the harness and if the unit isn't sealed properly then water will get in. All fixed under warranty so no harm to my wallet, just my faith in my car.
