Shuddering and loss of power whilst accelerating

Hi guys,


I have a 2003 manual 3.2L V6 Vectra and I'm getting a lot of shuddering whilst accelerating and also suffering a loss of power whilst doing so. I also get a flashing or illuminated engine light whilst accelerating which goes off if I'm maintaining the same speed. If I rev the car out of gear it's fine so its just in gear.

What's the cause likely to be? I'm getting rid of it in a few months but it could be either sold or going to the scrappers depending on this

could be coil pack .worth checking.

One of my friends also suggested that the coil pack was the issue so I'll have a look. Are there any signs to show that this is the problem?
