Hi not been on here for a bit because the z30dt has been off the road ,bank 1 swirl flap actuator malfunction ,charged the battery up closed the bonnet drove into garage cant open bonnet got pliers pulled on cable no resistance, ******, looked on here tried all suggestions no go ,Googled ,tried no go, you tube no go. now both top and bottom grills destroyed still cant get to the spring. 3 days now contemplating cutting a hole in the bonnet, wife walks in with a brew sits in the car and the bonnet pops up ,what did you just do i screamed ,i put the hand brake on she says !!!!!ffff!!!! says i .after calming down in front of the latch is a switch which prevents the bonnet being opened without the hand brake on !! So it 2 new grills and a cable and i havent started yet

I think my melted piston incident a few years ago beat most peoples issues with their Vectras eh Woodsters? Even I felt beaten and almost took the car down a lane to set it alight
